Electrical Troubleshooting

1) When using either turn signal, the indicator on the speedo will flash green once or twice and then die.

I'd suggest looking over the wiring diagram and, probably, taking the cover off the flasher relay to make sure the contacts are clean (use a little 220 grit wet/dry sandpaper) and that the contacts are contacting when they should. I have had to use needle-nose pliers to make a little more or less tension in one of the leaf springs, when the little coil in there wasn't making enough magnetic "pull" to close the contacts. The problem actually was probably just resistance built up in connectors throughout the system, but rather than take apart and clean all the connectors I could reach (and likely put something back wrong)...

 

2) My TANKE light is constantly on even when the tank is full to the brim with gas.

Unless there's a short in the wire leading to the light, you have to look at the sender. Remove it from the tank using crossed screwdrivers and see what you find. Maybe the three wires to the sender are crossed, or more likely the T wire has been pinched between the trunk floorboard and steel tank, and the insulation's worn through.
