Have you checked the choke butterflys to make sure they are fully 
closed? You don't mention how often you attempt to start your 
car...when my '74 sits for a week or more I have to add gas to the 
carbs to compensate for evaporation, otherwise I have to crank the 
engine for an ungodly amount of time to get gas back into the carbs...
